Loganville Rotary Club - Library Donation

The Loganville Rotary Club’s Kurt Hansen Fund makes donation

The Loganville Rotary Club’s Kurt Hansen Fund has made a remarkable $40,000 donation to support the construction of the new O’Kelly Memorial Library in downtown Loganville—one of the largest single contributions to the project to date. Established in memory of longtime Rotarian and local pharmacist Kurt Hansen, the fund embodies the spirit of “service above self” by dedicating 10% of all club fundraising proceeds to local initiatives that enhance youth education and community learning. In recognition of this generous gift and the Rotary Club’s enduring commitment to literacy and service, a room in the new library will be named in honor of Kurt Hansen and the Loganville Rotary Club. The modern facility, expected to be completed in 2026, will feature expanded children’s areas, a makerspace, meeting rooms, and outdoor programming space, serving as a central hub for generations to come.
