Sponsorship Opportunities
Naming Opportunities
Offer naming rights for specific sections or rooms:
- Meeting Room: $300k for naming rights
- Programming Room: $200k for naming rights
- Teen Space: $40k for naming rights
- Heritage Room: $40k (not available, committed)
- Nursing/Sensory Room: $10k (not available, committed)
- Study Rooms (3): $20k each room for naming rights (2 rooms still available)
- Family Restroom: $10k for naming rights
Targeted Donor Campaigns
Donors can sponsor specific areas or items:
- Quiet Reading Nook: $5K for naming rights
- Book Sale Area and Cafe: $15K for naming rights
Donors could also sponsor a range of books($1k-$2k per range)
Mural for the children’s area (average cost $10k-$15k) - Self checkout kiosk (4): (average cost of each kiosk approx $20k-$25k)
Sponsor any furniture item or grouping of furniture ($ – see furniture budget doc) - 2 outside book deposits: approx $6k-$8k for naming rights (decal)
- 1-3 outdoor e-Charging Stations: approx $4 each for naming rights
- Tables, lounge seating areas, display units: $1k-$3k
- Community Partnerships: Partner with local businesses, local garden centers or
nurseries who could donate plants, trees, or landscaping materials.(Grower’s Outlet, Home Depot/Lowe’s, Hills Ace). - Sponsorships for Garden Areas and irrigation system: Allow local businesses or
individuals to sponsor garden or landscaping sections/irrigation system and install. - Sponsorships for outdoor play equipment and tables/chairs/benches. Local
businesses could purchase items or sponsor an area. ($ – see furniture budget doc)
- Green Building Fund: Establish a “green energy fund” to specifically address
energy-efficient building upgrades and infrastructure improvements. Target businesses in sustainability for contributions. (solar power, HVAC, LED lighting, windows/tinting) - Corporate Sponsorships: Approach companies that specialize in construction,
sustainability, or bathroom facilities for large donations or in-kind donations. “This
restroom is ADA compliant thanks to a generous donation from ________.” - Eco-Friendly Campaigns: Create an eco-friendly fundraising campaign highlighting the importance of energy-efficient buildings and ADA-compliant facilities, appealing to environmentally-conscious donors.
Safer, More Accessible Library (Seniors, Young Children/Families, and those with mobility challenges)
- Grant Applications: Apply for grants specifically for accessibility improvements, such as those from foundations supporting elderly or children’s infrastructure.
- Special Donor Campaigns: Reach out to organizations dedicated to improving
accessibility for seniors and children. You could host an event or campaign like “A Safe Place for All Ages.”
- Employee Honorarium Program: Allow donors to make contributions in honor of
specific library staff or in support of their working environments. Donors could have their names displayed in a staff appreciation area. (furniture for staff lounge, workroom, manager office furniture). - Professional Organizations: Reach out to professional library associations or local
businesses related to workspaces, offering them sponsorship opportunities
RFID to Secure the Library’s Collection (tagging, install, equip) Estimated cost: $75k
Local sponsor of RFID project (tech company, data centers)
- Maker Movement Partnerships: Collaborate with local makerspaces, schools, or
businesses in the tech, art, and education sectors to fund the development of a
makerspace. Many of these entities will be interested in investing in the next generation
of creators and innovators. (Facebook, Data Centers?) - Kickstarter for Innovation: Launch a Kickstarter (?) campaign specifically for the
makerspace, explaining how the space will be a hub for innovation and creativity in the

Sponsors will be acknowledged in the following ways, based on their level of giving:
